Open Nectar & Lime Body Butter with golden cream, cut limes, sweet orange and jasmine flowers.

Shea and cocoa butter give this blend its dense, generous texture. Warm a little between your palms and it softens, with jojoba and meadowfoam oils helping it glide over your skin.

Fine arrowroot softens the oily feel, so the richness of the butters gives way to a velvety finish.

Arrowroot is a finely milled plant powder that changes how the butter feels on your skin. It softens the oily feel of the butters and oils, giving the finish a silky, velvety touch.

CAPPINGS BEESWAX

Hold on to that softness.

Our cappings beeswax does more than bring the butter together. It leaves a delicate protective veil on the skin, helping seal in moisture and keep skin feeling soft, supple and cared for.

We choose ingredients for what they bring to the finished butter: richness, softness, glide, protection or scent.

From the plant butters at its heart to the final trace of jasmine, every ingredient has a part to play.

Shea butter

Shea gives the butter its dense, scoopable texture and softens the skin as you massage it in. It is the source of much of that generous richness you feel between your palms.

Golden jojoba

Our organic, cold-pressed golden jojoba helps the rich butters spread smoothly over your skin. We chose it for its silky feel and the way it softens and conditions.

Cocoa butter

Cocoa butter gives the blend substance in the jar, then softens with the warmth of your hands. It works with shea to create the rich texture and leaves skin feeling soft and supple.

Meadowfoam oil

Pressed from meadowfoam seeds, this oil helps the richer butters glide over your skin. Its smooth feel and natural stability make it a good partner for the other oils in the blend.

Cappings beeswax

Cappings are the fine wax seals bees make over their honey. In our butter, that beeswax gives the blend body and leaves a delicate protective veil on the skin, helping seal in moisture.

Arrowroot

Finely milled arrowroot softens the oily feel of the butters and oils. We use it to give the rich blend a silky, velvety finish on your skin.

Lime peel oil

Distilled from lime peel, this essential oil gives Nectar & Lime its fresh citrus scent. We chose it for the vivid, zesty lift you notice when you first open the jar.

Sweet orange oil

Expressed from sweet orange peel, this essential oil brings a rounded citrus sweetness. It complements the zest of lime and softens the overall scent.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is an antioxidant that helps protect the oils in the formula from oxidation.

Sunflower oil

Sunflower seed oil contributes to the butter’s skin-softening feel. Alongside the other oils, it helps balance the richness of shea and cocoa butter.

Pure jasmine extract

Pure jasmine flower extract brings a floral softness to the lime and sweet orange. We use a delicate touch to round out the citrus scent as you massage the butter in.

Limonene, linalool and citral occur within the aromatic ingredients and are declared separately as fragrance allergens.

Limonene: Limonene is an aromatic component naturally present in citrus oils. It contributes to their characteristic citrus scent and is also named separately in the ingredient list as a fragrance allergen.
Linalool: Linalool is an aromatic component found naturally in many fragrant plants. It contributes to the character of botanical scents and is also named separately in the ingredient list as a fragrance allergen.
Citral: Citral is an aromatic component with a fresh, lemony character, found naturally in some essential oils. It is also named separately in the ingredient list as a fragrance allergen.

From our beekeeping world
to your everyday ritual.

We are a family beekeeping business in Brighton. Working with bees gives us an appreciation for beeswax, and a reason to put it to good use beyond the hive.

We make Nectar & Lime by hand in small batches, blending our cappings beeswax with plant butters, oils and a citrus-and-jasmine scent we love.

A little of the honey harvest.

Cappings are the fine wax seals bees make over their honey. Removed during extraction and collected as beeswax, they connect this butter to the craft at the heart of our business.

Alongside the beeswax, we use rich plant butters and oils, including organic, cold-pressed golden jojoba.

Store below 25°C, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep the lid tightly closed.
