Spring Harvest 2026 – Raw Brighton Honey (275g)

This is the first honey of our 2026 season: an exceptionally smooth, gently floral honey gathered through spring by the bees at our Brighton apiary, where the city meets the South Downs, and harvested in June.

Our bees forage freely across Brighton’s gardens, parkland, hedgerows and neighbouring chalk downland. Likely spring forage includes dandelion, cherry and other fruit blossom, sycamore, horse chestnut and hawthorn, together with a changing mixture of garden and wild flowers.

The precise floral blend is chosen by the bees and changes with the flowers and weather. This is naturally multifloral honey rather than a pollen-tested single-flower variety, giving each harvest its own colour, aroma and flavour.

Raw, unpasteurised and never fine-filtered, the honey is gently strained to remove small pieces of wax before being filled and numbered by hand in Brighton.

Only 72 jars were produced. Once this harvest is gone, it cannot be recreated.

Smooth and rounded, with a clean floral sweetness and soft blossom finish. Lovely on toast or crumpets, stirred into porridge or yoghurt, or simply enjoyed by the spoonful.
