Firm in the tin, soft between your fingertips. Cedar & Smoke brings together rich shea, mango and cocoa butters with jojoba, meadowfoam and argan oils.

Work a little through your beard to soften the hair and condition the skin beneath. Beeswax gives the blend structure and helps you smooth and shape your beard.

There’s a distinctive smell when we lift the roof of a hive: sweet honey, warm red cedar and the rich smoke from our beekeeper’s smoker.

Cedar & Smoke captures that moment in our signature scent: warm wood, clean smokiness and a rounded honeyed sweetness. Rich in character, with a balance that makes it easy to wear every day.

Jojoba oil

Jojoba helps the balm spread smoothly through your beard, softening and conditioning the hair without the heavy feel of the butters alone.

Shea butter

Shea butter brings a rich, comforting feel to the balm and helps leave beard hair feeling softer and cared for.

Beeswax

Beeswax gives the balm its body in the tin and helps smooth and shape your beard. It brings the butters and oils together into a balm you can work between your fingertips.

Meadowfoam oil

Meadowfoam oil helps the rich blend glide through beard hair. Its smooth feel balances the substance of the plant butters and beeswax.

Mango butter

Mango seed butter adds softness and a smooth feel, working alongside shea and cocoa butter to create the texture of the balm.

Argan oil

Argan oil helps soften and condition beard hair, bringing a supple feel to the finished blend.

Cocoa butter

Cocoa butter gives the balm substance. It softens as you warm the blend between your fingertips and contributes to its rich, conditioning feel.

The scent blend

Our fragrance blend brings the honeyed and smoky notes that sit alongside cedarwood, recalling the moment a hive is opened.

Cedarwood oil

Cedarwood oil adds a warm, woody character to the scent, echoing the cedar hives that inspired Cedar & Smoke.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is an antioxidant that helps protect the oils in the balm from oxidation.

Sunflower oil

Sunflower seed oil contributes to the softening feel of the blend alongside the other plant oils.

We are a family beekeeping business in Brighton. Days at the apiary shape what we make, from our seasonal honey to the beeswax goods we blend by hand.

Cedar & Smoke is made by the same hands that tend our hives, with care for every ingredient that goes into the tin.
